GET READY FOR RUCK ROCHESTER 2017

This Saturday we will be having our 6th annual Ruck Rochester Tournament with an all time high of eleven teams! Come out and support the team in this fun tournament. Thank you very much to those who have donated! The Hammer's theme this year is female superheroes and villains. The tournament will be held both on Southside Field and Fauver Stadium, but the Hammer s will only be playing on Southside.

Preparing for Ruck Rochester

The team has put a lot of effort into preparing for Ruck Rochester in the past few weeks. We made a banner to hang in the commons and painted the famous tunnels. Additionally we started a countdown on our Facebook page with a new edit posted each day (a couple of them are featured above). UNYCRC7s Qualifying Tournament

This tournament was wet, muddy, and cold, but a lot of fun! The Hammer s started off strong, beating Hamilton 17-5 where team president, Cat Yip scored her first try back from her ACL injury last year! The team struggled in the second game, especially with their tackles and rucking and fell to Colgate. After a break, the Hammer s came back strong and beat St. Bonaventure and Lemoyne. The team ended the tournament in second, but after submitting an at-large bid, the Hammer s were accepted and will be heading to Nationals in two weeks!!
