CURRENT RECORD 4-0
Rochester faced off in a home game ("Senior Game") last weekend against SUNY Geneseo. Meeting at the pitch with just enough players to field a full team, Geneseo started off strong and ready to fight. The Hammers were ready to play their own game however, and scored two tries within the first four minutes of the game. The team didn't let the points get to their head, and continued to stay focused for the rest of the half despite several injuries on both teams, and finished with about 35 points at the end of the first 40 minutes. The second half of the game was a clean sweep - Geneseo called the game early with 18 minutes left of the game. The final score of the match was 65-0. First tries were scored by Jaede Carney, Gabriella Catera, and Lotte Skutch. A plethora of great conversion kicks were scored
by Becca Silver. The team enjoyed their off-week this past weekend, but is returning to practiced pumped and ready to play their last league game of the season thisSaturday,10/22 against William Smith in Geneva, NY.
